Phyllis M. Hill
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE LEAD
Black Southern Women's Collaborative
Phyllis M. Hill is the Founder and Executive Lead of the Black Southern Women’s Collaborative (BSWC). The BSWC was created as a soft place to fully belong, without defense or pretense, that honors Black women’s labor, leadership, and brilliance. Since its inception, the BSWC has raised $8 million for organizations led by Black women across the South. Phyllis has coordinated with the BSWC for regional programming, which includes training, communications, digital, political, and fundraising work. This has increased Southern Black organizing capacity and infrastructure in states that are often intentionally overlooked and forgotten.

Onoyemi “Oni” Williams is a Chicago-born community leader who has made Birmingham, Alabama, her home and the heart of her activism. As Deputy Director of Faith in Action Alabama, she champions initiatives like the Peacemakers Campaign, focusing on reducing gun violence and promoting community safety. Williams's diverse background spans roles from child abuse investigator to probation officer, reflecting her deep commitment to justice and public service. Her work continues to inspire and empower communities toward lasting change.

Donna Coltrane Battle is a spiritual practitioner, coach, and scholar committed to justice and healing at the intersection of race, gender, and faith. She walks with leaders and communities through the work of restoration and liberation.
